Reset HC
If you could relive major events in your life, would you take a stab at making things better-and
would your best attempts only make things worse?
Or would you use your second chance to put your most twisted,
perverted fantasies in motion?
These are questions washed up actor and comedian
Guy Krause asks himself after he signs up to be the main
research subject for a virtual reality experiment!

New Title!! On Sale Today!!

Meet three certified geeks: a self-loathing journalist who has a seemingly normal girlfriend, a conspiracy theorist who still lives with his mother and an unemployed gamer who lives in his car. These strangely likable misfits find that dark personal secrets can sometimes be a virtue in OTHER LIVES, a hilarious original graphic novel by award-winning creator Peter Bagge (Hate). The story also explores people's identities, both real and created, and how the two become confused and conflated through the Internet and role-playing games.

Stussy, Discover and other Bagge News
Hi! Here's some news:
Stussy just released a series of T shirts I designed for them, which can be seen here along with a video interview with yours truly:
http://www.stussy.com/march_feature_peterbagge.html
I also have been doing a monthly comic strip for DISCOVER Magazine. Each strip features a famous (or not so famous) scientist of yore behaving in the quirky, asperger-y ways that scientists are renowned for (I uploaded a sample strip in the "pics" section of my MySpace page for you to marvel at: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=55578760&albumID=685163&imageID=46252592 ).
DISCOVER originally intended to post these strips on their website, but have decided against that, hoping to entice people to subscribe to the pulp version of their wonderful mag instead. To prove that their ploy worked go here:
https://w1.buysub.com/pubs/AG/DCR/DCR_New_subpage_093008.jsp?cds_page_id=54545&cds_mag_code=DCR&id=1237479132752&lsid=90781112127031315&vid=1&cds_response_key=I9WM3S
Meanwhile, a book collection of my REASON Magazine work (accurately titled "Everyone is Stupid Except for Me") will be coming soon from Fantagraphics, and I'm more than halfway done with a GN I'm working on for DC/Vertigo, which is taking me forever to complete. I don't have the attention span to do these stupid "graphic novels"! Bring back the "floppies," now!
Best,
-- PB

Right after that, from 7 - 9 pm, the nearby Floating World comic shop will be holding a "closing" party for a group art show featuring work by JR Williams, Mats?!, David Chelsea and myself (we'll all be in attendance except for Mats?!). New T-Shirts, Skateboards from Manik
Seattle based skateboard and apparel company Manik has just released a series of 5 skateboard and 3 t shirt designs by me, culled from images from the earliest issues of HATE comics. Am I stuck in 1993 or what?!?
Right now the only images I can show you of them are these tiny, fuzzy images, since Manik is currently working on the Store section of their website. But write to info@manikskateboards.com in the meantime and ask for a free catalog.

A new Online Reason Strip http://www.reason.com/news/show/124698.html
- 21 December 2007

The latest installment in the increasingly eccentric life of Buddy "The Crazy Guy Who Works at the Dump" Bradley involves a war over scrap metal, of all things, when Buddy's old pal and business partner Jay takes over the auto junk yard next door to Buddy's place in an attempt to capitalize on the rising value of used steel. Watch what happens when these two former collector geeks butt heads over a filthy, noisy, heavy yet priceless commodity! Also in this issue: The final chapter (which works as a stand-alone story) of Bagge's "Bat Boy" run in the Weekly World News, and Lovey once again gets involved with a Man of Mystery whose "mystery" is of questionable taste! And as always, there are other odds and ends that round out this one-man anthology.
